I print on polyester sportswear. Which printer should I choose?

For 100% polyester sportswear, dye-sublimation is the top recommendation — the dye bonds at the molecular level for permanent prints with zero hand feel and 100+ wash durability. If you also print on cotton or mixed fabrics, add a DTF printer as a complementary machine.

Can I print on black/dark t-shirts digitally?

Yes — with two technologies: DTF prints CMYK+White onto PET film, transfers to dark fabric via heat press — no pretreatment needed. DTG also prints on dark garments but requires pretreatment spray. Sublimation does NOT work on dark fabrics.

How do DTF gold foil and silver foil stamping work?

Print your DTF design as usual, place foil over the transfer, heat press at 150–160°C for 10–15 seconds, cool completely, then peel. Same DTF printer and heat press — only the foil material is additional ($0.10–0.20 per A3 sheet).
